Ok, now THIS news has got to be some of the worst relationship news I’ve heard in a while. Simply because Will + Jada for the past 13 years have represented the pillar of a healthy, happy, Hollywood relationship. Now, there’s no hope for any of us! TMZ reported the news a few moments ago, with this to say:

Report: Will Smith and Jada SEPARATE

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have separated … this according to In Touch Weekly. Will and Jada have been married for 13 years and have two extremely famous children together — Jaden and Willow. Will has another son, Trey, from a previous marriage. TMZ placed a call to Jada’s rep, Karynne Tencer , who told us … “What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this … Lord. I’m going back to bed.” Curious reaction.

 

*UPDATE* Will and Jada have come out with a statement denying these separation rumors.

Behold! One of the most inspired collaborations I’ve seen this year– “The Americans” collection by Taz Arnold’s TI$A + Dr. Romanelli reflects a new age in fashion. I call it “back to the future– a retrograde motion of classic Ralph Lauren pieces mashed-up with a modern flare….

They took Taz’s vast collection of vintage RL pieces, and remixed it creating a bunch of amazing collage pieces that look more like art than apparel. HIGH SNOBIETY had more to say:

I stumbled upon this mess of a video as I was doing my daily web-search. I had to post this because I was so caught between hilarity and pure disgust– I just didn’t know which way to go! And I don’t REALLY blame Kreayshawn for any of this– I was just being cute…. But seriously. This has got to stop. Is she a stripper, a porn star, or just a really bad rapper? I just can’t tell. Probably what’s saddest for me is knowing that this is yet another example of how the art of hip-hop has denigrated so much. THIS is what we have been reduced to. This isn’t even GOOD slutty hip-hop. Lil’ Kim, Trina, Uncle Luke or even Akinyele need to sit her ass down and teach her the truth and the light. WHY is she rapping in a bikini, a fitted and boots? Who styled this? Why is the desperation for attention so apparent? Didn’t anyone tell her less is more, or that being thirst is not the wave? Who approved this???? I need answers! I wish I could sit homegirl down and teach her how to really be sexy. It’s not about how naked you can get– either. I couldn’t even pay attention to anything she was saying– that floppy, sloppy booty was too much of a distraction, SMH. Enjoy it– if that’s what you’re into….. I’m out!

This weekend, world news sources have been all a-buzz about the inevitable demise of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi. Over the last 42 years, Gadhafi has ruled the country with an iron fist– but his days of power are quickly being numbered.

Rebels have taken over the capital of Tripoli. They are attempting to take down Gadhafi’s compound, but he responded with armed tanks– although his demise is imminent, he’s not going out without a fight. His whereabouts are unknown, but at this point  several global leaders have chimed in and encouraged him to give up the fight gracefully. I doubt that is going to happen, but I’ll keep you all posted as things develop. I pray for the people of Libya and their swift sovereignty! But I must admit– Gadhafi is intriguing. From his flamboyant fashion sense, to his all-female 50-unit security detail– he’s kinda like a SWAG-KING. A dictating, unrelentless swag king, lol. Give it up, Gadhafi…. It’s OVER.

DIOR hasn’t had a creative director since March. The disgraceful antics of John Galliano lost him his job with Dior, and has the coveted fashion mega-house looking for a new leader. According to WWD– Jacobs (who’s been creative director at Louis Vuitton since 1997) is in talks with Bernard Arnault to head the position at Dior. If Jacobs takes this job– Phoebe Philo (CD of CELINE) will be slated to take over at Vuitton. So the fashion world might be playing a game of musical-chairs as the dust settles. DIOR is one of the oldest, most coveted and respected fashion houses in the industry. Getting an offer from DIOR is surely an offer you can’t refuse. But let’s see what Marc does. This will be a VERY interesting shift if it actually goes down! STAY TUNED…..
