Upscene started with an idea in 2007, and production in 2008. Based from the Upper regions of Manhattan, the Upper West Side of Manhattan where founders Sean and Jon were raised. Jeff, art director and Sin City native brought together by a chance meeting brought the line full circle. The ideals and principal of the line come from the global appeal found in and inspired by NYC. Upscene believes in the progressive manner of vulgarity, how one persons view of obscenity can be another’s sense of expression. Obscene then become Upscene, a Community of Open Minded Individuals.
