
Last Monday, myself and a select few press and papps were invited to G-Shock’s “SHOCK THE WORLD” suite and conference, where we got a chance to look at all the samples CASIO had to offer– plus get well-informed on G-Shock’s vast history. I was especially looking forward to hearing brand-reps LAMAR ODOM, and KE$HA speak. We had a great time in the suite. Check it out:

Next, it was time to go to the conference and get better informed about the brand….

Much of the conference was done power-point style on a large screen.

The CEO of Casio was funny and humble. He discussed how G-Shock’s sales have gone up by 210% in the last year despite the devastation of the recession. WOW!

The director of marketing also spoke to the group. He discussed some of their new models. Click the thumbnails to view:




Soon after BRYAN GREENBERG from “How to Make it In America” spoke as the brand-rep for EDIFICE– Casio’s latest new high-end brand of digital/analog watches.





Next, LAMAR ODOM came to speak about a G-Shock he had helped to design..

Then it was off to the after-party and concert– G-Shock out-did themselves. The whole event was orchestrated awesomely. We all had a great time, and left feeling informed and impressed with all of G-Shock’s new technology and success!
