I woke up Saturday morning feeling like a super-hero, so I figured– why not dress like one?

I asked myself– if a bat-woman actually did exist, what would she wear? How would she wear it? Yes– believe it or not I do have these type of thoughts when I wake up in the morning and get inspired, LOL. I decided the best thing to do would be to give myself wings, and wear spandex.. This is what super-heroes do, no?

The wing-inspiration comes from my cropped cotton-knit blazer by ORIGINAL UNDERGROUND. This gave me the “lift” I was looking for….

I didn’t have to think too long or hard about the accessories. B. Wood’s gunmental bat-chain couldn’t have been more appropriate. The count was killed in battle. We wear the pin in his honor, LOL

Studs are all the rage nowadays, but I’ve always liked them… I took it a step further by purchasing a spiked-stud leather band. You can purchase these in the village in any little boutique or street fair. Watch out for the band on the left– it’s murderous! I stabbed myself a time or two after forgetting what I had on! The gloves add to the function of the outfit– giving me the little something extra that I wanted.

The animal-print leggings are from Forever 21, and the thigh-high boots are Ralph Lauren.

All in all, do I look like I’m inspired by a fierce bat-lady ready to take on the world? I think so…
