Well, this is a moment that many of us have been patiently waiting for… An epic time in political history– to say the least. Some didn’t think it was possible, but the United States has FINALLY left the primitive stage of capitalistic healthcare-systems, and moved on with the rest of the world with a new, universal healthcare plan.  Everyone deserves to have healthcare, and I’m glad that the powers-that-be can acknowledge this without a bunch of socialist/communist redderick and scare-tactics (at least on the DEMOCRATS side of things….).

Last night, the house passed the bill narrowly with a 212 – 219 vote. There will be a HUGE fight in the senate to kill this bill, and I know that the seas ahead are going to be rough for Obama– if this bill doesnt pass, I can see him not even considering to opt for re-election. I wish the democrats all the best with this– it’s about time. Now, if we can work on a more universal insurance system with fair and feasible rates nationwide? That’d be the icing on the cake…. One can dream, right? YES WE CAN.
