Kelis was snapped at the DATA Awards event in Los Angeles recently. Her look is very primal as far as animal-influence– she says her hair color was inspired by wolves fur… Her head-piece reminds me of the statue of liberty… Her lashes are like peacock feathers– and her nose-ring detail reminds me of India. She has a lot going on with this ensemble– only Kelis could even attempt to pull it off and make it work. I enjoy her gum-shun. While everyone else is chasing Lady Gaga and Rihanna’s avant-garde-rocker-chic-edge, Kelis (as always) carves a path of her own. What do you think of her daring look?
