Hello, faithful flock! I told you we had some heavy-hitting projects in store for you in 2010, and we never lied! Welcome to the preliminary post of our 20 IN TWENTY-TEN SERIES. What is that? You might ask. The series was conceived by me at the start of the year when I sat down and thought of all my peers in the industry that have been working hard and long (in some cases for years), and have garnered a following and a lot of success. These 20 were chosen from a batch of 50 people that we thought were amazing. All 20 of these talents have made a splash on the downtown NYC scene and beyond. We have included fashion designers, dee-jays, directors, singers, photographers, stylists, models, and much, much more. This might just be the most comprehensive list of young talent in NYC there is!

My staff-photographer and right-hand; TECHIE  (who I photographed in the image above) was kind enough to step back, and let me take the photographic reigns. I used his CANON 40-D SLR camera to shoot all 20 of the participants in various venues around NYC. Techie handled the video camera to get some live-action footage of our shoots. I took to the camera to debut my talent to the world. Many are not aware of my passion for photography, and I thought this would be an awesome way to come out and showcase my passion. It has been a fun, delightful, exciting and eye-opening experience that I hope you will all enjoy. I respect and admire all 20 of these talents deeply, and if they are not household names yet– they will be in a NY minute!  Every day for 20 days a new talent will be featured right here on CCW, so stay tuned! I’d like to thank all the talented folks who participated and volunteered their time. Let’s take over in 2010!
