To me, Monica is the Whitney Houston of our generation. Her voice is raw and filled with so much emotion.  When she sings,she is going to make you feel every word. Monica is one of the most authentic artist out and I feel she is so underrated. When I first heard she had a upcoming reality show, I became extremely skeptical. My first thoughts, not another celebrity reality show.

After watching a small preview, I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve been excited about a reality show. Still standing, will give viewers a look into Monica’s life outside of the music industry.You will see the trials and tribulations Monica faces as she is recording her album and also being a full-time mother.

I couldn’t help but notice how much Monica’s style has evolved. When she first stepped on the scene, we were introduced to this sassy teenager with a big voice.
