The night before last, I went out to HIRO nightclub to support my homegirl Jasmine Solano, and of course my brothers — THE CLIPSE as they were performing to kick of CMJ real proper-like. For those of you that don’t know I had the pleasure of interviewing THE CLIPSE this past summer [click the link and check it out if you haven't yet]. They are some real humble, super-talented, and funny guys. Gotta love em… The line-up was dope. DJWonder was on the 1′s and 2′s…

He definitely did his thing, spinning classic STAR TRAK hits along with some other heavy-hitting tracks. WHOOP! Next up was my girl Jazzy:

She KILLED it, and performed my jam: “That’s NOT IT!” produced by DJ Wonder. DOPE TRACK!!!!

Gotta love that M.O.B gear she’s rocking… WERK, BATCH!

After her set, I went backstage to kick it with the Clipse, and eat some food! They had clams, rice and beans, jerk chicken, GREY GOOSE– the works! And they were very generous as usual– which is why I heart my brothers:

That was Pusha right before they hit the stage– mic in hand. And as usual, they RIPPED IT!!!!

All in all it was a great night. I was happy to support my talented friends– always a pleasure. What a way to kick of CMJ. We get it in– NYC STAND UP!!!
