After several successful designer collaborations, everyone waited patiently to see who H&M will select next to come on board. Well the wait is over; H&M selected French designer Sonia Rykiel “The Queen of Knits” to help H&M deliver another powerful collection. The first collection will be the first time H&M has extended its collaboration to lingerie. The collection is scheduled to hit stores on December 5th, in 1500 H&M stores worldwide. At the same time, Sonia Rykiel will make this lingerie collection available in Sonia Rykiel major boutiques around the world, another first for H&M.

The second collection will be a spring 2010 knitwear collection for women and girls (1.5-8yrs old) accompanied by playful accessories. The second collection will launch in 250 H&M stores on February 20, 2010. I can only image what is to come of these collections. If it’s anything like what we’re use to seeing from the French designer, I know these collections will sell out extremely fast. I am looking forward to being able to shop for myself and my daughter at the same time…PURE EXCITEMENT!
