This past weekend, my photog and I went to L.E.S to celebrate women in the alternative arts. The FresHER event took place at a local public school. There was a dee-jay on-set and an open wine bar. The art was fabulous, I mingled with friends and had a blast! Artists Included: Alice Mizrachi, TOOFLY, Lady Pink, Martha Cooper, SHIRO, Aiko, Sophia Maldonado, Diana McClure and an artistic mix of 30 other dope females! What I took from this event was something special. Women are not only the creators of life, but are also strong, talented, multi-faceted– simply INCREDIBLE. I am so inspired to continue my craft and push on, so that one day I may be honored like these fabulous women in the arts were that night.
