Like every good blog out there, I am always open to expanding and getting different points of view. Therefor, I recently opened CCW up to guest-bloggers who will chime in periodically about their subject of expertise. We have some lovely ladies on-board to guest-write, and the following is a little introduction:
Londyn Nikole:
With extensive knowledge in color and precise technique, Londyn Nikole is a creative artist who uses makeup as her narrator to illustrate well-told stories. Well versed in several areas and arenas, Londyn has worked with some of the world’s most recognizable faces and brands including BET, MTV, Harriet Cole ( Editor for EBONY Magazine), Natasha Bradley (Jive/Dark child Recording Artist), Julito Mccullum ( HBO “The Wire”), supermodel Beverly Johnson and esteemed eco-model Summer Rayne Oakes. Her client list also includes rising actress Chyna Layne from the movie “Precious” and VH1′s reality star Jessica Rich aka Rabbit, among just booking the Head MUA for the new Clark Brothers film “DISCIPLE” starring Taral Hicks (Belly, A Bronx Tale), BET host Alesha Renee, and Elizabeth Ahmed(Cavier) from VH1’s show “ For the Love of Ray J.”
From M.A.C. Cosmetics, Estee Lauder, NARS and a portfolio of tear sheets ranging from Elle Magazine, Vogue, Teen Vogue to The Source Magazine, Londyn is making her mark with makeup.
Born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina and currently residing in New York City, Londyn Nikole is in high demand. Having worked Brooklyn Fashion Week to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2008 and 2009 with Michael Kors, Miss Sixty , Nicole Miller, Christian Dior, Baby Phat and many notable others, Londyn-Nikole gets the job done.
” I see beauty in everyone and everything and it’s my job to bring that existing beauty out, for others to see. I understand the relationship between lines and shapes, textures and colors…and I keep that in mind as I conceptualize the final vision. I am more than just a makeup artist, I am an artist,” she says.

…Which brings me to my next guest-writer Sharese:
Street but Chic, is the best way to sum up Sharese. A Brooklyn native, Sharese knew she wanted to get into the fashion industry after being inspired by Jada Pinkett’s character Lena James on A Different World. Sharese freelance with several designers before deciding to take a break from the industry to focus on motherhood. Sharese is currently spending countless hours of building her company, Chic on The Streets, bringing fashion and the streets together…. STAY TUNED.
**SO, look out for fashion and makeup tips from these savvy ladies coming very soon on CCW: for the informed & sophisticated!
