Many nay-sayers (myself included, admittedly) didn’t have high hopes for Jay-Z’s latest effort: “The Blue Print III”. Many who attended his show last week at MSG left disappointed and disenfranchised. Several people felt he lacked his usual swagger on “Run This Town”– most claiming that Kanye and Rihanna stole his show.  Despite all the doubt about his success, Jigga has grossed 465,000 albums in his first week– making this the 11th #1 album he’s had–  smashing the record of previous title-holder: Elvis Presley! Hah! he might be rolling around int he grave over this one! Congrats, meng. Sorry we doubted you. I still think you should hang it up soon though. 50 and rapping? No bueno.
