I know some of you good people out there co-sign this type of behavior, and this type of rap. I’m not here to judge you. Many of you are perfectly educated, employed, and self-sufficient. You just enjoy not using your brain cells every  now and again. I can’t fault you for that. However, I myself  simply cannot and will not co-sign these “A-B-C-D” rappers, with their “A-B-C-D” lyrics, and hooked-on-phonics attitude. 7 chains? who needs 7 chains? Are they even real, and if they are how many Africans died for it? Was it worth it? SMH. Rap (even mainstream rap) used to be challenging, engaging, fun and just fly. Now, it’s just… I dunno. Kinda dumbed-down I guess. The blind leading the blind. I weep for our future. Check out the latest (or not) from Lil’ Boosie: “I’m a Dog”. Well… At least he admits it. SMH.
