I have always been a BIG-TIME animal lover. I feel in-tune with kids, and animals– call me crazy but I have an uncanny knack for relating to both pretty well… Not to mention I’m a LEO, so I love wild-cats, animal print, and safari’s. And I’m African too– so you know all this was just plain inevitable… But I digress.

In recent years I have developped a deep fondness for Zebras. I have wallets, shirts, sweaters, cell-phone covers, the works! I just feel like Zebra’s often go ignored, but they’re SO RIDICULOUSLY COOL! I think GOD probably made these animals with the sole purpose of looking cool. Their super-trendy black and white stripes would never shield them from predators in the wild– if anything they stick out like sore thumbs– which is very rare in nature. Most animals are built to adapt and camouflage in their surroundings (and yes, there are SOME exceptions, but this is the general rule-of-thumb).

So I conclude that GOD just made them black and white because it looks cool. And those colors are classic! Timeless! Always in style! And as if that wasn’t enough, He gave them a seriously hard-core mohawk! How many animals DO YOU know that come standard with a mohawk… FIERCE! I am utterly convinced that the zebra’s sole purpose on this planet was to be cool. And they are. I come across people like me all the time. I call them the zebra-people. They totally feel me, and share my admiration for this beautiful beast. They often tend to be off-beat characters, with awesome spirits, and tons of creativity. I feel its about time the zebra-people started a movement and took over the world. I’m just saying….
