Gaga was in Malta this week to do a press conference at Isle of MTV, and let’s just say– it was VERY INTERESTING. I like Gaga for her fearlessness, but this was just a little too contrived an gimmicky. There is a such thing as TOO MUCH shock-value, and when you do it constantly, it loses it’s potency. She’s not going for shock value bud. If anything i’d say it was a homage.

well, “bud”– I think she takes from many artists– Warhol would not be excluded. It doesnt mean any less that she doesnt do things for the shock value. She copies Madonna and Grace Jones constantly– and adds a bit more extravagance to try “re-invent” it– but it doesn’t always come across convincing… At least in my humble opinion…
