Solange is rapidly becoming my favorite Knowles’ sister in the game. Her off-beat style could be taken by some as an over-compensation for being out-shined by her mega-star sister, but I really don’t think so. Usually you could just tell when something is a gimmick (ahem, ahem Ciara) and when it is just authentic style. I’m a last-born as well, so I could relate to Solange. I feel last-borns often end up having a very unique and quirky sense of style. Maybe it’s a natural reaction to being in the shadow of an over-achieving sibling… Almost like your mind is tailored to deviate from the “norm”. Who knows? Just a theory. Anyway, Solange showed up this weekend for the Essence Festival in NOLA in this risky number. I love it! Where can I get these leggings????
