The other night in Chinatown, it went DOWN! What, you ask? Where, you say? Ha! Y’all missed all the fun. It was Brian Wood’s much-anticipated follow-up to his “Night-Stalkers” show– “T-Shirt Retrospective”. The exhibit took an intimate look at t-shirts from previous lines, and current. I was blown away by the presentation. B Wood is always a designer that pays great attention to detail. These things are important to the patron, and he gets it. The models donned his tees with grey gym shorts and trendy low-top kicks…. The models stood behind empty picture frames like gorgeous live statues. The tees were hot, the crowd was thick, and some of the most fashion-forward elite were in the house. Check it:
A Brian Wood show is much more than just that. It’s truly an experience! His timeless and innovative designs remind us all why this fresh talent is bound to be a mainstay in menswear and beyond. Good drinks, good times, good friends– great fashion:
Me with the man of the hour– Mr. Brian Wood!
Me and one half of B. Wood Designs– David, yo!
Me & All Purpose… Jack of all trades…
As usual, we were all entertained and in awe by the sheer talent and innovation that were these shirts. Who knew something as simple as a t-shirt could really make a bold statement– without literally writing a bold statement! LOL. It was great. I’m looking forward to Brian’s next show– which will prolly be even better than this one (if possible).
