It’s that time of year again y’all, when the clothes get skimpier, and the shades become mandatory! Don’t think I forgot about you. We always bring that heat. Check out Oakley’s latest effort– a collabo with Paul Smith Jeans. A throwback (and you know that) to the 80’s style classic Oakley’s with a VERY millenium twist! Can’t be mad at that…
Paul Smith Jeans has collaborated with Oakley to release 4 new exclusive colour ways of the iconic mid-1980’s classic, Oakley Frogskins Sunglasses. Each design is limited to 500 pieces and is ‘surf n skate’ inspired. They feature plutonite lenses that block 100% of all UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light up to 400nm. Oakley performance eyewear also uses XYZ optics, a breakthrough that maintains precise clarity at all angles of vision and extends the range of optical correction. The lenses also have iridium coating to reduce glare and improve contrast.
Pink Camouflage rubber frames finished with violet iridium mirrored lenses. Each ear stem features a raised Oakley logo and are internally printed with ‘Paul Smith Jeans Limited Edition Frogskins. The glasses are supplied with a PSJ/Oakley fabric drawstring bag that doubles up as a cleaning cloth.
You wanna style and profile? These will set you back a cool 170 GBP… Conversion price would be around $300 or so. Big shouts to my favorite Brit– Terissa for the link! *wink*
Oh, and let’s not sleep on your boy Pharrell.. Billionaire Boys Club just came out with these new “nerd” glasses– only available in the NYC flagship store… Aren’t they boss? Don’t sleep.
